Sacred Bond metal print by James Neafsey. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
A Mayan Mother and Child walk a mountain path beneath a starry sky. She holds the child tenderly as he looks in wonder at the stars of the Milky Way. Her eyes are fixed on the next step of the journey. Fog fills the mountain valleys as dawn begins to break.
About James Neafsey
I have done drawing, painting and sculpture since I was a child. I considered becoming an art historian when I was in college in the late 1960's, but decided to focus on Christian spirituality and a variety of other spiritual traditions. For over forty years I worked as a teacher, workshop and retreat leader, spiritual guide, and trainer and supervisor of spiritual guides. In 2013 I began to paint in a more serious way, taking lessons for three years from a teacher from Nepal who specialized in sacred art from the Buddhist and Hindu traditions. I painted Sacred Bond in 2018. The positive response to the painting encouraged me to begin selling prints of the original painting which was done with acrylic on gesso board.
